The national Ukrainian currency is the Ukrainian grivna (UAH). When you come to The Ukraine, you may exchange grivny for dollars or Euro in one of the Ukrainian Banks. We recommend not buying grivny from anyone selling the currency in market places, bus stops, etc.; because the money you get from them may be counterfeit
